HISTORY
Fifty years ago, in the 1950s, the war was over, Finns were rebuilding their home country and Pintos Oy made its first nails, initially with just two nail machines.
In the 70s, we expanded to binding meshes, in the 80s to reinforcement meshes and ribbed reinforcement bars. Pretty straightforward, but accurate in measurements and prepared with skill. In the 90s we started to take a serious look into bending. All types of reinforcement for the precast industry quickly developed into a significant product group.
In the 2000s, we have focused on quality, product development and the expansion of exports. We are especially strong in Scandinavia and in Europe.
